We have so far brought you a Little Green Day at Deepark cafe and a Little Green Night at Zula bar. Both were wondefully successful with a great crowd of people enjoying recycled art and decor, an Eco Fashion show, workshops, talks, Green traders and the amazing Jungle Theatre show. The bands we had were the best Cape Town has to offer including Trenton and Free Radical (currently number one), Manouche, Saintfearless, Ruffest, a hot Kwaito act, and the brilliant Sons of Selasssie
Our outdoor events are solar powered offering a chance to try our compost toilets.
At our gatherings we offer space for creative expression and collaboration with recycled art workshops and eco fashion designs. We focus on healthy earth and body, by offering organic food stalls and trading of environmentally sound products.

Little Green Events
Inspiration for the Little Green Gathering events has come from working at Glastonbury's Green Futures Field and the Big Green Gatherings in the UK
The Little Green event's aim to be collaborative and interactive, we want to involve people of all ages and from different cultural backgrounds.
These events are specifically designed to celebrate and include kids as we believe our children hold the key to a more caring and environmentally conscious future.
Little Green day events will bring people together to explore possibilities and ideas for the weekend events planned for next year and each year after.
We are planning competitions in schools for green earth art, recycled sculpture and even earth friendly poetry and stories.
Another exciting idea is the GREEN BAND COMPETITION - we want to hear from any bands who are conscious about the environment.
Send a proposal to us (or even a video) explaining why you are a Eco-Band. And of course you will need to write and perform a GREEN SONG!
